The No7 five pound vouchers are back and how could I resist not purchasing something from their spring collection! I have to admit I'm not the biggest No7 fan but this product really caught my eye, it's such a gorgeous colour! The new spring collection also includes some really gorgeous cream blushers and lipsticks I might have a look at next time I'm in Boots.

The powder is really soft and easy to apply and on my pale NW15 complexion it leaves a gorgeous golden glow. It isn't too stark on the face like some highlighters come across but it gives a really gorgeous glow to the cheeks. I could see this looking stunning dusted along the collar bones if you were really going "out there". The packaging is really cute and feels very chunky and sturdy. I apply the product with a MAC 188 brush for a lighter effect as I do think you can go a bit highlighter mad if your not careful!

The only thing that gets to me is the price! At £13.00 in my opinion thats an expensive product! With the voucher it came to £8.00 which is reasonable but still a bit on the steep side for a drugstore highlighter! I would say I probably wouldn't have purchased it without the voucher however they are running at the moment and it's definitely not a purchase I regret, I'm really enjoying using it.

One thing I've not been wowed by yet at the drugstore is a highlighter. I love nipping into Boots and picking up bits and bobs but I must admit it's never a highlighting product. I've tried the No.7 skin illuminators and I wasn't too keen and found them way overpriced for what they did. I was having a browse through the 17 make up and came across the little bronzing section. They had such a great range of bronzing products I was highly impressed! I loved the look of these shimmer bricks (immediate thoughts being possibly a Bobbi Brown dupe?!). They had a more bronze shade but I really liked the look and swatch of pink bronze and thought it would be a little more of an illuminating product.

The colour of this product is gorgeous when swiped though all the shades! It comes off a really pretty rose gold colour with a bit of "bronzing" effect to it. I sweeped this onto the tops of my cheekbones and loved the effect it gave!  My cheeks looked glowy with a hint of colour that just looked healthy and flattering. You could obviously use this as more of bronzing by sweeping your brush through the brown shades. The next thing I'm looking forward to using this product for is on my eyes, I think it would look absolutely stunning on its own which some liquid liner.

I would really recommend this product. The powder is smooth and has brilliant pigmentation but is manageable. I would definitely say this is a more blush/highlight colour than bronzer though. The price is perfect for the product and definitely worth it, I'd even pay a little more!

This Christmas Chanel brought out a lovely collection of really classic Christmas make up staples. Everything in the collection really shone out as "Christmas" to me.

After having a little scan over the collection I came across the "Lumiere Sculptee De Chanel", a beautifully designed highlighting powder for the face. The design which looks "carved" into the powder is inspired by a Baroque-Style jewellery belt worn by Mademoiselle Chanel. It was really is one of the most gorgeous looking make up products I own! I'm scared to use the product in fear of the beautiful design fading away.

The product is a soft ivory/peachy powder with a gorgeous veil of light running through it. There is a layer of rather heavy shimmer on the first layer of the product but once a brush has swept through it a few times, it's gone.

The result the product gives when applied to the skin is a lovely sculpted glow. My face definitely appears a lot more "sculpted" after using this product. It's not sparkly on the skin and doesn't leave any visible shimmer particles, just a gorgeous glow. I wouldn't say it leaves the skin "dewy" as such, when I think dewy I think slightly wet looking which this definitely does not do.

At £46.00 it is an expensive, luxury product. Would I say it's worth the money? I'm not sure. It purely depends on what you like in a higlighting product. I love the finish it leaves on my skin but others may crave that little extra dewyness. However I am glad to have it in my collection and it will be getting a lot of use.
