L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara

I have never been a massive fan of the L'Oreal Telescopic mascaras, I thought they were okay but nothing I would repurchase. There was a lip pencil from L'Oreal I was lusting after and at a buy one get one free offer I opted for the new Telescopic False Lash mascara. I am immediately drawn to mascaras that have "False Lash" in the name as I love false lashes and wish I could be bothered to wear them everyday. Although 99% of the time my lashes don't end up looking false, I am still drawn to them!

The brush for the mascara is plastic and lovely. There are very fine plastic bristles and it's very flexible so allows you to really grab at the lashes. When applying the first coat my lashes look long and separated, no visible clumps. I always apply 2 coats of mascara so upon the second coat I noticed my lashes had thickened up slightly and held a nice amount of volume and length. The one downfall to this mascara in my opinion is that it barely curls your lashes, I would definitely say I need to invest in a nice eyelash curler if this is going to stay in my everyday routine. If you have straight lashes I would definitely curl your lashes first before applying this mascara.

Overall it is a nice product but I don't think I'll repurchase, it's just nothing new or crazily special to me! My favorite part of the mascara is the flexibility of the brush as you really get good control over where you are applying the mascara.

Hope you're all well!

  1. This is a really good review! I've wanted a mascara with a flexible wand, I always end up getting blobs on the corner of my eye from trying to get the outer lashes.
