What I Bought #4

I went to Westfields Shepherds Bush yesterday with a friend for a little retail therapy, I wasn't actually planning on buying a lot! My main goal was to buy some Origins skincare I've been eying up but the products I wanted were all sold out, I blame bloggers!

I picked up the gorgeous Tye Dye clutch I had in my last want list, I couldn't believe it when I saw it in store so I took it as fate and bought it! The nappy tee is actually from the maternity section which I didn't even realize till I was at the till, I just thought it was an over sized one, woops! The American Apparel deep V's are something I've been looking at for a while, I'm really into super casual clothes at the moment literally just jeans and a tee. The deep v's are part of the mix and match 2 for £25 which is mental considering they are £20 each alone!

I finally delved in Essie polishes and couldn't be happier with the shades I chose, really put me in the mood for summer! I think Fiji will be particularly nice with a tan.

Hope you're all well!

Revlon MATTE Lipstick In Smoked Peach

My favourite "drugstore" make up brands are Revlon, Collection 2000, Sleek and Bourjois. To me Revlon is the more sleeker, "high endish" (really don't think that's a word) make up brand from the drugstore. I have always looked at their lip products and thought they seemed like decent quality but never really delved into them. When doing my usual after work Superdrug trip on Friday and swatched almost everything on the back of my hand! I was looking at the Matte range Revlon offer and really fell in love with this shade.

The colour itself is the most perfect peach, it's not too nude and doesn't look orangey, just peachy! When first applying the lippy it feels like a MAC Creamsheen and then dries to a Matte finish. I really like the formulation as it doesn't leave my lips the slightest bit dry, just an even matte lip! It's really nicely pigmented and isn't bright. I would definitely recommend taking a look at the Revlon Matte lipstick range! They have some really lovely shades and are so reasonably priced!

Lots of love, Caterina xo

LA ROCHE-POSAY OFFER- 2 FOR £15

LA ROCHE POSAY EFFACLAR M & EFFACLAR K 2 FOR £15 AT BOOTS.

I've always walked over to the "La Roche Posay" stand and picked things up with the intention to buy them then chickened out. I would usually decide that it was too unessential in my skin care routine or too expensive. Today this all changed! I again walked over to the stand and caught a glimpse of a "2 for £15" offer and immediately started scanning the products deciding what I wanted. La Roche Posay products usually retail for around the £13 mark so in my eyes this offer screams BARGAIN!

I firstly picked up the Effaclar M Mattifying Moisturizer. This is a product I've eyed up for a while as it's quite raved about in the beauty world and I'll do anything to battle the oil/shine in my work days! It claims to give me a result of "smooth and matte, the skin is intensely moisturized. Day after day the pores are tightened and the skin recovers it's balance".  That's me sold! I will be using this over the next few days for work and when I've put it through it's paces will pop up a full review.

I was really struggling with the second product but the Effaclar K Daily Renewal Fluid For Oily Skin caught my eye after extensive browsing of the counter. This is a fluid you can apply to your face in the day or night time and it acts as a "perfect" make up base. I think I will be using this is the night time so it can work it's magic overnight. If I'm completely honest I'm not 100% sold on what it's meant to do. However I am excited to test it out, who knows it could be a new holy grail!

I would like just throw in a quick apology for the quality of these images. I really missed blogging and I have sold my Canon 20D so I can upgrade! So hopefully the quality will only be a temporary thing!
