What I Bought #4

I went to Westfields Shepherds Bush yesterday with a friend for a little retail therapy, I wasn't actually planning on buying a lot! My main goal was to buy some Origins skincare I've been eying up but the products I wanted were all sold out, I blame bloggers!

I picked up the gorgeous Tye Dye clutch I had in my last want list, I couldn't believe it when I saw it in store so I took it as fate and bought it! The nappy tee is actually from the maternity section which I didn't even realize till I was at the till, I just thought it was an over sized one, woops! The American Apparel deep V's are something I've been looking at for a while, I'm really into super casual clothes at the moment literally just jeans and a tee. The deep v's are part of the mix and match 2 for £25 which is mental considering they are £20 each alone!

I finally delved in Essie polishes and couldn't be happier with the shades I chose, really put me in the mood for summer! I think Fiji will be particularly nice with a tan.

Hope you're all well!

What I Bought #3

The other night I was sat at home browsing through the Topshop website and decided to make some well deserved purchases (it's been stupidly hectic at work this week!). To be honest none of these things are REALLY that exciting but they're some things I've been keeping my eye on for a while.

The skeleton tee is such a great basic and quite cheap for Topshop! I was actually pretty shocked by the price seeing as at the moment the only was is up with the Topshop price tags. I'm not too sure about how it will look on but I plan to wear it with a black floaty skirt. The jeans are a complete an utter love(excuse the super bright photos my camera just wasn't on my side)! Acid wash is something I will forever love and when I saw these jeans I knew they had to be mine and they're super soft! I cannot wait to wear them. Finally the Basic Nappy Tee, I bought this as something to wear casual with the jeans it's just slightly more exciting than your regular plain white tee.

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Topshop Sunglasses

In just over a months time I'm wizzing off on holiday for a week! I really was on the hunt for some new over sized and glam sunglasses. After eyeballing a few different pairs on the Topshop website I decided to have a proper look in store as usually there's a bigger selection on offer. I popped into the Topshop in the Shepherds Bush Westfield's (my favorite!) and had a nice look at the shades which were on offer and automatically fell in love with these! The shape is perfect not too square or overly round and I love the little gold detailing at the side, I hate sunglasses that get ruined by silly little patterns or logos! I'm really happy with these sunglasses and find that they really suit my heart shaped face nicely!

P.S. I've gained a few new followers over the past couple of days and wanted to say a HUGE thank you for following and I really hope you enjoy my blog :-)!

Hope you're all well!

Topshop Coy Lip Stick

The Topshop make up range has just grown and grown in popularity since it begun but for some reason I never ever branched out to it! Up until purchasing this a few weeks ago I'd only ever owned one of their cream blushes which I've got to say is probably an all time favorite but never encouraged me to purchase more.

I'd heard quite a lot of hype surrounding the Coy Lip Stick and seeing as we are closely reaching the summer months (not you would even know with the weather in the UK at the moment!) I thought I'd give it a try. It's one of those pale, neon, bright lipsticks. The colour is gorgeous a really true peachy pink that in no way reflects orange on the lips. The consistency is more on the Matte side which I really like. I could see how this could be drying on someone with dryer lips but if you pop a bit of lip balm underneath you should be good to go!

I've used this when I've had tan on and when I'm at my palest (NW15 MAC) and it looks gorgeous against both. I do get quite apprehensive over these more "pale brights" against my pale complexion as I think it might look a bit too clown like, however I've found this to be perfect!

I would really recommend the shade and the product itself! I'm actually going shopping later so maybe I'll pick another up but to be honest I really do not need anymore lip products!

Hope you're all well!

What I Bought #2

Monki Shirt, NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, NARS Duo Eyeshadow, Topshop Lipstick & Illamasqua Cream Pigment.

You know them shopping trips where you absolutely are over the moon with your purchases? This was definitely one of them! We are reaching the end of April (crazily!) and my pay day is on Friday so I thought I'd treat myself. This shirt was actually the first thing I saw when I walked in Monki and I couldn't have fallen more in love! The collar is so adorable and the colour is definitely my thing.

I needed a foundation for when I'm a bit more tanned so opted for the highly raved about Sheer Glow, my friend walked out of the shop wearing it and it looked truly stunning so I'm so excited to start using it. The duo is one I've wanted for a while (post coming soon) as NARS eyeshadow is without a doubt the best. The other 2 bits were things I lusted over ages ago and fell in love with again whilst having a play with at the counters.

I'm really happy with my purchases and literally cannot wait to wear all of them. Successful shopping trips are definitely my favorite.

Hope you're well!

What I bought 28/12/2011

Topshop Jumper £36, Topshop Bambi Night Top £10 (Sale), Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer £28, Laura Mercier Luster Eye Colour in Dusk £18.50, YSL Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick in Rose Boreale £22.50.

I went on a little shopping spree with the boyfriend in one of my local towns and had a little splurge time. I popped into Pearsons (a small department store) and walked away with 1 thing I fully intended to buy and 2 impulse purchases, pretty good for me I think?! I did resist a lot of temptation especially over at Estée Lauder as so many people have recently raved about the "Maximum Cover Foundation", but I really don't need another foundation at the moment and I'm waiting for the new Perfection Lumiere launch.

However I did walk away with the Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer which I cannot wait to slap on! So many people have raved about these primers and I'm a sucker for anything that will keep the slap on my face! The Luster Eye Colour was a bit of a crazy impulse. I have never heard anything about LM eyeshadows but when I swatches it, it looked so pretty I just couldn't resist (well I could have but chose not to)! And sometimes it's nice to try products that aren't so much on the radar. The YSL Lipstick was another mentalist purchase. I have wanted one for ages but find all the colours too gorgeous to possibly choose one! I went for Rose Boreale as its a beautiful warm rosy pink, a real me colour!

I only picked up two clothing bits as sales drive me INSANE! There's never anything I like in my size and when I do find something the que decides to be 2474248 long and I just give up and put it back! I did pick up the long Bambi pj top from the sale but the jumper was full priced. I love the colour of the jumper and I actually fell so in love with it I picked it up 2 sizes too big for me as it was the only one left!

Hope your all well and having a wonderful break!

Love, Caterina

Lustful Thinking: Topshop Multi Butterfly Print Kimono

I have wanted this for so long now I can't remember what it was like to know this didn't exist. I am absolutely head over heels in love with this kimono from Topshop. I cannot even begin to explain why I love it. Maybe it's the gorgeous detailed butterflies? Or maybe it's just the fact it's a kimono! All I know is I need this in my life. It is no longer listed on the website which worries me as currently on eBay people are selling them for over £70! It does retail for a quite expensive £50 but I can justify £50 but definitely cannot justify £70. I would also rather see it in store but none of my locals seem to have it! It may be a trip to the Oxford street store, but I hate the Oxford Street Topshop and if you've ever been you'll know what i mean when I say from the moment you enter it's an absolute nightmare. I have to be in the right frame of mind! I only live a 20 minute train away but it's just the thought of dragging myself round there, although it is better than the Marble Arch Primark, jeeez that makes me wanna chuck myself out a window! Anyway I think I'll end this post with the original photo which was found on http://movesfashion.blogspot.com/.

I haven't made my bed for weeks

Sheer Top- Topshop
Vest Underneath- Primark
Shorts- H&M

So heres my second outfit of the day wooo! I love this outfit I think it's cute but very casual which is my favorite way to dress! I've been getting really down about my hair recently and yesterday almost spent money I don't even have on Color B4 and dark blonde foam dye, I am terrible! Has anyone ever used Color B4 on hair extensions? Thats what I'm planning on doing. I found my dream shade of dark blonde in L'Oreal Sublime Mousse- Pure Dark Blonde I love it but very skeptical on the whole "foam dye" thing. A girl I know had light brown hair with blonde highlights and bought a foam dye in a blonde color and it turned her hair black! I mean there is always the possibility when going blonde to be slightly ginger or brassy toned but never in my life have I heard someone dye their hair blonde and it go black! It may have just been a dodgy box but still thats terrible! I'd love to dye my hair one of the "Nice 'n' Easy" shades, they have a brilliant selection for blondes but nobody I know recommends them apparently the dye almost NEVER takes to the hair which I don't want to risk and end up spending more money! Oh the awkwardness of hair.

Want List: Topshop

Recently I've found myself snooping through the Topshop website a lot more than normal. The clothes that they are bringing out at the moment are right up my street! Especially the dresses (hence why this post is mostly dresses). So I thought I'd make a "want list" I usually go on massive shopping sprees spending hundreds on clothes then afterwords looking at there online store thinking "WHY DIDN'T I BUY THAT INSTEAD" but it's too late I've taken the label off and worn it!
From left to right-
Mint Sleeveless Bow Detail Tunic: I absolutely adore this! It's something I can wear now and in summertime! It's definitely got that girly, cutesy edge to it. I can imagine wearing it with a cream colored cardigan and possibly a pair of cream brogues? Whatever it's warn with it will be cute!
USA Print Dungaree Print Dress: I've become obsessed with anything with the American flag on it! I think dungarees are something we will forever be wearing throughout spring/summer. What I love about this is I can throw on a pair of tights with it and I'm good to go, no need to accessorize.
Grecian Chiffon Dress: Definitely my new evening dress! I absolutely love this it looks light and elegant something I could wear going out for lunch in the day or to glam up in the evening.
Apricot Lace Hem Blouson Tunic: I went into Topshop the other day with the intention of buying this dress but just my luck they didn't have it in my size! This is my favorite out of these six choices. I love the color, the fabric and the detailing.
Yellow Spot Pussybow Short Sleeve Blouse: I adore pussybow fronts I think they look really classy. I think this will look lovely with a pair of denim shorts and wooly tights, something that will be colorful yet casually cute!
Burgundy Long Sleeve Blouse: Burgundy is one of my all time favorite colors. I just love it and I have been looking for a burgundy blouse for absolutely ages and now I've finally found one you can 100% guarantee this will be in my arms when I'm next in Topshop! I love the low cut I think it will look lovely with a cream/oaty colored vest underneath and a statement necklace.
