What I Bought #4

I went to Westfields Shepherds Bush yesterday with a friend for a little retail therapy, I wasn't actually planning on buying a lot! My main goal was to buy some Origins skincare I've been eying up but the products I wanted were all sold out, I blame bloggers!

I picked up the gorgeous Tye Dye clutch I had in my last want list, I couldn't believe it when I saw it in store so I took it as fate and bought it! The nappy tee is actually from the maternity section which I didn't even realize till I was at the till, I just thought it was an over sized one, woops! The American Apparel deep V's are something I've been looking at for a while, I'm really into super casual clothes at the moment literally just jeans and a tee. The deep v's are part of the mix and match 2 for £25 which is mental considering they are £20 each alone!

I finally delved in Essie polishes and couldn't be happier with the shades I chose, really put me in the mood for summer! I think Fiji will be particularly nice with a tan.

Hope you're all well!

Want List 18/05/2012

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair, Topshop VEGAS High Vamp Ballet Pumps, Origins Ginger Souffle, Topshop Midnight Snack Tee & Shorts, Topshop Tye Dye Zip Clutch, Origins Out Of Trouble Mask, Bumble & Bumble Sunday Shampoo & Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturizer.

I love doing these want lists every so often! It's great to browse through sites and find things you really would like! I went on a bit of a clothes kick last month/beginning of this month so it is mainly beauty products.

What I Bought #2

Monki Shirt, NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, NARS Duo Eyeshadow, Topshop Lipstick & Illamasqua Cream Pigment.

You know them shopping trips where you absolutely are over the moon with your purchases? This was definitely one of them! We are reaching the end of April (crazily!) and my pay day is on Friday so I thought I'd treat myself. This shirt was actually the first thing I saw when I walked in Monki and I couldn't have fallen more in love! The collar is so adorable and the colour is definitely my thing.

I needed a foundation for when I'm a bit more tanned so opted for the highly raved about Sheer Glow, my friend walked out of the shop wearing it and it looked truly stunning so I'm so excited to start using it. The duo is one I've wanted for a while (post coming soon) as NARS eyeshadow is without a doubt the best. The other 2 bits were things I lusted over ages ago and fell in love with again whilst having a play with at the counters.

I'm really happy with my purchases and literally cannot wait to wear all of them. Successful shopping trips are definitely my favorite.

Hope you're well!

What I Bought #1

I have been doing a bit of internet clothes splurging recently and I thought I'd share some of the bits I've got! The weather has been super temperamental in the UK the past couple of days and it's getting really hard to dress appropriately. I'm on a make up spending ban this month after looking through my drawers the other week and actually being disgusted at the amount of products I simply do not use! So I guess thats my excuse for the crazy clothes binge!

What I Bought This Week.

(Photo 1- All Primark, Photo 2- All Primark, Photo 3- Internationale, Photo 4- Primark, Photo 4- Savers & Superdrug.)

I love these type of posts! It's an opportunity to have a nose at what people spend their extra cash on. I bought the clothes mostly for my new job, I needed a work wardrobe! I love the chiffon scalloped shirt it's officey! The chinos were something I'd ad my eye on for a while and finally took the plunge and at twelve quid, what a bargain! The red top was something I already owned in a brown colour from Topshop, except obviously this Primark one was a zillon times cheaper!

I got a load of basics as they are so easy to chuck on with trousers, skirts or denim shorts! I particularly like the long sleeve ones but it was pretty busy at that bit of Primark so I only grabbed one.

The button up Internationale shirt is on of my fave buys! I can see myself wearing it a hell of a lot. It's such a nice off white colour too which will go with anything. The black tube skirt was a cheapy essential that I needed for work.

I love this studded wrap around bracelet! It really reminds of a belt I saw not so long ago, so pretty. I've heard quite a bit about these "Super Cosy" tights and how opaque they are, so I just had to buy them as I HATE sheer black tights with a passion, and on top of that they're cosy!

Finally I got some St Moriz Dark Mousse from savers and a couple of make up bits. The goldy colour from MUA reminds me of MAC's Amber Lights which I love. Got some coconut oil after hearing the wonders that it does to your hair. Lastly I got this Rimmel Moisture Renew lipstick in "Funtime Fuchsia" which has become a quick go to favorite this week! I love fuchsia and magenta pinks. I also got some Crest 3D White Strips, False Lashes and Duo Lash Glue but they haven't arrived yet.

Hope you enjoyed the post!

Lustful Thinking: Topshop Multi Butterfly Print Kimono

I have wanted this for so long now I can't remember what it was like to know this didn't exist. I am absolutely head over heels in love with this kimono from Topshop. I cannot even begin to explain why I love it. Maybe it's the gorgeous detailed butterflies? Or maybe it's just the fact it's a kimono! All I know is I need this in my life. It is no longer listed on the website which worries me as currently on eBay people are selling them for over £70! It does retail for a quite expensive £50 but I can justify £50 but definitely cannot justify £70. I would also rather see it in store but none of my locals seem to have it! It may be a trip to the Oxford street store, but I hate the Oxford Street Topshop and if you've ever been you'll know what i mean when I say from the moment you enter it's an absolute nightmare. I have to be in the right frame of mind! I only live a 20 minute train away but it's just the thought of dragging myself round there, although it is better than the Marble Arch Primark, jeeez that makes me wanna chuck myself out a window! Anyway I think I'll end this post with the original photo which was found on http://movesfashion.blogspot.com/.

They were only £8 so a super bargain and they are exactly what I've been looking for! I haven't made my bed for weeks

Sheer Top- Topshop
Vest Underneath- Primark
Shorts- H&M

So heres my second outfit of the day wooo! I love this outfit I think it's cute but very casual which is my favorite way to dress! I've been getting really down about my hair recently and yesterday almost spent money I don't even have on Color B4 and dark blonde foam dye, I am terrible! Has anyone ever used Color B4 on hair extensions? Thats what I'm planning on doing. I found my dream shade of dark blonde in L'Oreal Sublime Mousse- Pure Dark Blonde I love it but very skeptical on the whole "foam dye" thing. A girl I know had light brown hair with blonde highlights and bought a foam dye in a blonde color and it turned her hair black! I mean there is always the possibility when going blonde to be slightly ginger or brassy toned but never in my life have I heard someone dye their hair blonde and it go black! It may have just been a dodgy box but still thats terrible! I'd love to dye my hair one of the "Nice 'n' Easy" shades, they have a brilliant selection for blondes but nobody I know recommends them apparently the dye almost NEVER takes to the hair which I don't want to risk and end up spending more money! Oh the awkwardness of hair.

A Spot Of Orange

Photobucket
Dress (worn as a skirt)- H&M

Okay this ideally isn't how i want to do my "outfit of the day" posts but it will have to do for now! I was sent yet another faulty card reader so still cannot upload off my camera which is very frustrating. Anyway, I love this outfit especially the top it's one of my favorite items in my wardrobe at the moment. The skirt is actually a plain orange dress but I thought the two looked nice together. Excuse my messy room as well like I said this isn't really how I wanna do these posts! My best friend recently got a job is Dorothy Perkins so I think this will be the last item I pay full price for haha! I thought it was a tad on the expensive side for a regular peter pan collar vest but the material feels really high quality and quite thick but still alright to wear in this scorching weather!

I might also do a "How Expensive Is My Face" post today, I'm in a blogging mood!

Want List: Topshop

Recently I've found myself snooping through the Topshop website a lot more than normal. The clothes that they are bringing out at the moment are right up my street! Especially the dresses (hence why this post is mostly dresses). So I thought I'd make a "want list" I usually go on massive shopping sprees spending hundreds on clothes then afterwords looking at there online store thinking "WHY DIDN'T I BUY THAT INSTEAD" but it's too late I've taken the label off and worn it!
From left to right-
Mint Sleeveless Bow Detail Tunic: I absolutely adore this! It's something I can wear now and in summertime! It's definitely got that girly, cutesy edge to it. I can imagine wearing it with a cream colored cardigan and possibly a pair of cream brogues? Whatever it's warn with it will be cute!
USA Print Dungaree Print Dress: I've become obsessed with anything with the American flag on it! I think dungarees are something we will forever be wearing throughout spring/summer. What I love about this is I can throw on a pair of tights with it and I'm good to go, no need to accessorize.
Grecian Chiffon Dress: Definitely my new evening dress! I absolutely love this it looks light and elegant something I could wear going out for lunch in the day or to glam up in the evening.
Apricot Lace Hem Blouson Tunic: I went into Topshop the other day with the intention of buying this dress but just my luck they didn't have it in my size! This is my favorite out of these six choices. I love the color, the fabric and the detailing.
Yellow Spot Pussybow Short Sleeve Blouse: I adore pussybow fronts I think they look really classy. I think this will look lovely with a pair of denim shorts and wooly tights, something that will be colorful yet casually cute!
Burgundy Long Sleeve Blouse: Burgundy is one of my all time favorite colors. I just love it and I have been looking for a burgundy blouse for absolutely ages and now I've finally found one you can 100% guarantee this will be in my arms when I'm next in Topshop! I love the low cut I think it will look lovely with a cream/oaty colored vest underneath and a statement necklace.
