Sleepy Skin Saviours
Whether you had one too many drinks the night before or stayed up late watching films we all get that tired and dull complexion sometimes! These are my favorite products to use when I need that little extra boost to make me look slightly alive. These are great for the dreaded Monday mornings at work where you literally cannot think of anything worse than getting out your warm bed.
Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid Foundation- Since I purchased this foundation just over a month ago I literally cannot live without it. It has a gorgeous natural finish which is why I've included it. When your trying to create the appearance of more awake skin you want a base that looks naturally flawless, which this certainly does!
Origins GinZing- I love this eye cream. It makes such a difference to my under eyes. It may not have any long term benefits but it gives me that instant under eye brighten pick me up. I also find my concealer applies a lot easier too after using this.
Bobbi Brown Corrector- When your a bit on the extra baggy side this really helps eliminate those dark circles. When I haven't got that much sleep I usually put a lot more effort into my under eye concealer and find using this corrector along with my regular concealer really does the trick.
MAC Eyeshadow in Nylon- This is fab for popping in the inner corner. I haven't tried another eyeshadow that makes your eyes look as awake and big as this one. It's also great for blending all over the lid for a little extra something on the eyes.
Illamasqua Cream Blush in Lies- This product is marketed as a cream blush but I find it gives the most gorgeous dewy highlight. If you love dewy skin you NEED this product there's nothing else I've tried that gives as much of a glow as this. It has a slight pink tone but it's so sheer you can barely notice it but the colour that does pay off really does contribute to that more awake skin.
MAC Mineralize Blush in Early Morning- This blush came out with the Naturally collection a couple of months ago and it's my go to blush for putting some natural, glowy and warm colour back into my cheeks.
YSL Faux Cils Mascara- To help contribute to the wide eye effect a good helping of mascara will always be your friend. I'm a huge fan of big fat lashes anyway whatever look I'm doing but I would never skip this step when wanting freshly polished make up.
Lots of love,
Caterina xo

Flawless Base Products
Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer, Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation, Bobbi Brown Corrector, Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit & Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder.
Without a shadow of a doubt my favorite thing in make up is base. I eyes and lips too but to me base makes or breaks your make up. These are a few products I've accumulated over the past months which I find really do work for me. I have oily/combo skin and I find these products keep my skin looking flawless and fresh all day long.
Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer: I will be doing a full review of this product in due course however for now I'll say this really has improved the longevity of my make up. I love how it allows my foundation to go on so much smoother too.
Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation: I did a full review of this before Christmas and what can I say? I LOVE IT. It makes the skin look like silk and covers all my nasty bits without need for concealer. I also find this works great even without primer.
Bobbi Brown Corrector: This and the concealer are my bad ass dark circle fighting combo. It really does make them vanish. I love how smoothly it applies too.
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit: I did a full review of this a couple of months back and I really do enjoy using it. I use shade Porcelain which is a bit light for me! However I like that it's that bit lighter as it really lifts my under eyes. I use the pressed powder to set it too, to eliminate creasing.
Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder: I LOVE this product. The powder is so soft to touch, even softer than MUFE HD and if you've felt that you'll know it is as soft as hell! It eradicates any shine and keeps my make up set all day.
I love the results these products are giving me and can't see myself straying away for a while. What are your must haves for a flawless base?
Lots of love, Caterina xo

Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara
Mini Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara Included in 3 Piece Set @ QVC
Bobbi Brown is a brand I've recently really got into and have enjoyed using many of their products. I was given a gift set from them as a present and was excited to try out what they've dubbed their "boldest mascara ever". I would have never really gone to Bobbi Brown for a mascara so took this as an opportunity to try something I would have never normally have gone for.
The brush is a regular tapered bristle brush with dual fibers designed to grab every lash. When first applying the mascara I noticed it was quite wet, which is nice as I hate a dry mascara! The wand did definitely feel like it was grabbing for my lashes and really coating them well. After I coated my lashes once the result were high in volume, clump free and separated lashes. I usually apply around 2-3 coats of mascara as I like my lashes to be very full and long. I instantly noticed after continuing to apply coats that my lashes were gradually looking more dramatic but not as if they weighed down and clumped up with mascara. This is probably the best mascara I've used for being able to build up without getting clumpy and messy. I found the mascara to not smudge too heavily throughout the day and can be removed effortlessly.
Overall I really like this mascara, it's perfect for everyday use and really does create a nice pretty yet glamorous looking lash. The one downfall is that it didn't really thicken my lashes up too much, I'm not sure if I'd prefer this in conjunction with other mascaras to thicken the lashes more. The full size 4.2ml of this product comes in at £18.00, which is definitely a lot more than I usually spend on a mascara. I'm not 100% sure about how I feel about paying £18.00 for a mascara, even though I do really enjoy using it.
Bobbi Brown have a really handy mascara guide which you can find linked here so you can find the perfect Bobbi mascara for you.
Hope your all well!
Lots of love, Caterina xo

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit Review
I've been using Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit for about a month now so I've gathered a good opinion on it! First of all I'd like to address how I'm the shade "Porcelain", the palest they do. I've heard a lot of people talk about ow this product comes with the "Pale Yellow" powder and how it makes such a difference. I was excited to see that until I noticed my shade came with the "White" powder! I was extremely disappointed and still don't understand why my shade is different?!
They hit the nail on the head when they named this "Creamy Concealer", it is definitely the creamiest concealer I have ever used! It almost feels like it's got moisturizing properties in it but don't quote me on that! I apply the concealer with my finger then blend it with a MAC 224.
The coverage of the concealer is very good, it makes me dark circles vanish! However I don't feel like the white powder does anything at all! I guess it does brighten underneath a little but thats it, and the concealer does enough brightening anyway.
All in all I do really enjoy using this concealer and will continue to use it! Some people have said it has creased on them, but I haven't had any noticeable creasing. I am impressed with this concealer however the £23.50 price tag puts me off re purchasing a little bit! I think next time I will purchase the shade up. You can purchase the Creamy Concealer on it's own for £17.00.

Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Foundation Review.
I am again sorry that the photo quality isn't as good! My new card reader is in the post.
I've always wanted to try a Bobbi Brown foundation but have never known which one to go for. A lot of people rave about the "Skin" foundation but I was scared it would be way too light for me (coverage wise). So I opted for the "Luminous Moisturizing Foundation", The website claims this foundation gives a healthy, even toned glow and is actually aimed at reducing the signs of aging! To me this foundation smells like sherbet which can be off putting if your a person like me who doesn't like to put products with strong smells on their face! However I can get over that, the foundation finish itself is gorgeous your skin looks so healthy and hydrated with a lovely dewy finish! The coverage can be built up to medium if needed but personally I'd rather just use a little extra concealer on any nasty bits! Once the foundation sets the smells doesn't remain which is great. When the foundation arrived at my house I thought it was a sample! The bottle is so so tiny but still contains the normal foundation bottle amount of 30ml. Another thing to note is the color range is really good, I'm in Porcelain (0) but I think there's an even paler shade which is fantastic as I am super SUPER pale but this matches perfectly.
